The are 475 pupils in our school and 14 primary school teachers and 18 teachers. The school is located in an economically disadvantaged area with an unemployment rate of 11.5%. Because of this, our students come from families that have only one parent, the other one working abroad. We also deal with pupils whose families left them with their grandparents or other relatives. 21 pupils are with special educational needs and out teachers work with them according to their own level.

 

The school does everything it can to involve its students in after class activites: complementary and extracurricular activities regarding community life, ecologic activities, humanitarian aid for the pupils in need. The school is multicultural; we have pupils with different cultural background. There are pupils of 4 nationalities. As foreign language our pupils learn English and French and their language skills are very good. Thus, they can get in touch with pupils from different countries and their are eager to do that. Participation in the project will enable them to get in thouch with other pupils, sharing their interest and beliefs and making new friends.
