The Istituto Comprensivo 15- Verona is located in a suburban area around Verona and is organized into two different levels of schools- Primary and Secondary junior.

 

It welcomes children from different social levels (mainly lowe middle classes) and experiences, a lot of immigrated students belonging to deprived families and also disable students who are integrated in the classrooms..

 

Our institution is very active in all the educational fields, interpreting in a wide perspective its task on the teritory, offering many activies, collaborating with families and associations of the territory.

 

The school is associated with  European Pole of Knowledge ( permanent national network of schools). They  work mainly against social exclusion, fighting aganist xenophobia and racism, training of students and drop outs, intercultural learning and youth workers' and vocational training field.

 

Thanks to this project, students, and teachers will improve their knowledge and awareness of the similarities and differences among different cultures, understanding of their own culture as well as European culture and diversity. This will enhance tolerance and prevent prejudice and improve the students' viewpoint of the life. The project will develop the students' creativeness and their skills by expanding their imagination, motivating and increasing the self confidence.

 

Moreover pupils will be motivated to learn English and to improve their ICT skills and the project's results will have positive effects on all the  school enviroment.
