This is one of the best schools in our town, situated on the centre.IVAN VAZOS SCHOOL has a histoy of 140 years. It was founded in 1871.In 1911 the school decide to take the name of the great Bulgarian writer, who had writter the historical novel "Under the Yoke" and many other brillant stories and beautiful poems. Nowadays it is the educational centre for children from the age of 6 to 14. There are several clubs responding to students' interests. We are proud of the achievements of our students. They have won first prizes in national competitions- Maths, chess, rock-climbing, asecond prize in the International Art Competition "Shancar", India. They have been very successful in the field of music, sports, ecology. During the last years the school is working with the Programme for integrating students with specific educational needs into mass classes. Ten childrend are being educated according to this programme.

 

The Bulgarian school has 700 students, studying in two shifts and 40 teachers, who are highly qualified and teaching their subjects with various and interesting methods. Parents and children are so pleased with the education product they are offered, that the school is preferred every year by more of them and the number of students is increasing constantly. All children, who continue their education in other schools after they graduate ours, are always veru successful.

 

Our students take active part in the social ls.ife of the city. They like to show evidence of their numerous talents.

 

The classrooms of our school are renovated every summer, they  are spacious, furnished in modern way and equipped with all kinds of necessary appliances.

 

In this project we are going to organise visit to nature reserves, planting of trees in a partnership forest, exhibitions of photosand posters about endangered species, of products made of waste materials, competition between the students on the topic "Environmental protection", conversation about the methods of recycling, eco workshops, eco club, albums and power point presentations about endangered animals and plants and manyothers.
